The story contains darkness and light, evil and good, all cleverly woven together to complete a beautiful love-story! But Jacqueline introduces a few surprising elements in this book including a first-person perspective of a new character in Leander Maignardsome powerful sorcery that is straight out of a Disney fairy tale—though with a much darker bent—and various other little twists that keeps the reader second-guessing.

I couldn’t wait to finish the book so I could see what happened to the characters I have come to know and love. That, I have known but once.
